Florida Beach Cafe has closed. Now there is a new restaurant called Speggtacular. I give them 5 stars. They have fresh food, fruit, etc. The entire staff is friendly and all work together to give you a great dining experience. Please come check them out as you will not regret it. There open from 7-3
Floridian Beach Cafe has closed and been replaced by Speggtacular, a franchise chain restaurant. Entirely new menu. Food is OK, staff is friendly, but food took a long time to come even with very few people in the restaurant. Crepes are pretty good, but breakfast potatoes are poor and of the packaged, reheated variety.
This is now called Speggtacular. Same concept of serving breakfast and lunch. Open until 2 or 3. Right now concentrating on breakfast items but they are expanding the lunch menu. We took advantage of the senior specials on the breakfast menu. I had a veggie omelet which was a smaller portion than the regular menu, but includes coffee. It came with toast and potatoes. I didn't finish the whole thing as there is plenty of food there, even with the smaller portion. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. We will go back for a decent and affordable breakfast!
Very poor management and food (while not bad at all) came out incorrectly. The server was sweet but it was obvious she wasn't trained and the kitchen was having multiple issues. One family left while we were there because no one spoke to them for 15 minutes, (didn't happen to us). I wish them success but the owner needs right this ship as quickly as possible
The Floridian Beach Cafe is another gem that I stumbled across one day during my stay in Clearwater. My son and I along with a friend of ours got a late start one day but still wanted breakfast/diner food. I used google maps to search and am so glad that this place came up. Our server was good and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!
Possibly the best place for breakfast in Clearwater Beach! It will be our place for breakfast every time we visit the area. Great food & service.
What a great place. Located on the left side of the street in a strip mall just before the Sand Key bridge if you are heading south. The waitress was very attentive and the food was good. Very good! Open from 7am to 3pm with breakfast available all day. I had the Tarpon Springs omelet. Black olives, feta cheese, red peppers and onions. Came with choice of potatoes or grits and choice of toast. The grits were something special!!!Reasonably priced items and a delicious step up from typical beach and diner food. I can't wait to go back and have lunch and try a Bloody Mary! Also, very clean establishment which is uber important to me. 5 stars!
We would be giving 5 stars as we really enjoyed the food the first 3 times we came here during our stay on Clearwater Beach. However, our 4th visit was such a terrible experience that we wont be going back. My wife is lactose intolerant and had been using the coffee mate non dairy creamer on our last visits. She asked the waitress, who we hadn't interacted with before, if she could bring some of the coffee mate creamer. The waitress told her that they only have one creamer (I've seen 3 brands in our 3 visits) and my wife responded that we have been here every day this week. A few minutes later I hear the waitress back in the kitchen talking smack about my wife and acting like she was some major pain in the ass to them. I approached them, let them know that we could clearly hear their conversation and didn't appreciate it. Won't be going back. Good food, terrible attitude. Thank the young guy with brown hair for the 3 stars you are still getting.
